MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian who was killed Monday night after being struck by a vehicle.
Vangelis Washington, 22, was on W.Va. 45 about halfway between Martinsburg and Shepherdstown near the intersection with Files Cross Road.
Washington appears to have been struck on the southern side of the road near Noel Drive.
The accident was reported at 10:00 p.m. Monday.
