Maryland man convicted of unlawful possession of seven firearms

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Maryland man found six rifles and one shotgun in June 2015 has been convicted of unlawful possession of firearms.

Jesse Kenney, 25, was previously convicted of the felony offense of Conspiracy to Commit Theft in an Amount Greater Than $500 in the Circuit Court of Allegany County, Maryland.

As a result of that felony conviction, he is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Kenney pled guilty in Martinsburg this week.

He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
