CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — A Maryland man died yesterday while cutting down trees at a residence on Kabletown Road.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office tells the Journal the 28-year-old victim was pinned against a tree when the branch he was cutting snapped back.
An additional person was on the scene cutting trees, but police said they were uninjured.
The victim’s name has not been released.
