INWOOD, W.Va. — Republican Delegate Eric Householder will have a challenger this November.
Barbara Frankenberry announced that she is running for the House of Delegates in the 64th district.
Frenkenberry says if elected she wants to make sure the needs of Berkeley County and the Eastern Panhandle are addressed.
Frankenberry said she is excited about the campaign and potentially serving in office.
She says “This is an opportunity for all of us to work together here in our Eastern Panhandle to make it first.”
She plans on hearing what the public has to say if elected,
saying, “I’m a communicator, and I believe in talking with people and listening to them.”
Frankenberry made the announcement Tuesday morning.
The Berkeley County native was a teacher for 44 years before retiring in 2015.
