Collision involving school bus sends six to hospital

SMITHSBURG, Md. — A Jefferson County School bus and a four-door passenger vehicle collided at about 8:00 this morning near the intersection of Rowe and Leitersburg-Smithsburg roads.

Jefferson County Schools Spokesperson Meghan Metzner told WEPM News the Washington County Sheriff’s Department determined the school bus driver was not at fault.
