MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Virginia resident was convicted of identity theft Monday.
Acting U.S. Attorney Betsy Steinfeld Jividen announced Angela Roberts, 41, of Stephenson admitted to using someone else’s identifying information to commit bank fraud.
The crime occurred in Berkeley County last June.
Roberts faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
