The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reports that a 14-year old reported missing on Sunday afternoon has been found.
The search began Sunday night utilizing search dogs from neighboring Frederick County, Virginia, but was halted due to the darkness and continued into a daytime search on Monday.
The sheriff’s department confirmed in a social media post just before 5pm that the missing teen had been found in a tree stand off Sandy Lane.
The teen was taken to War Memorial Hospital for treatment of exposure to cold.
