Undefeated Martinsburg HS Boys Basketball to host tournament this weekend

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Martinsburg Boys Basketball team is off to an undefeated start to this season and they’re looking to keep it that way this weekend.

The home of the Bulldogs will host the Skip Fowler Memorial Tournament tonight and Saturday from the Martinsburg Field House.

The 5-0 Bulldogs will face Frederick Christian Academy this evening and Central High School on Saturday.

On Friday morning’s edition of Panhandle Live, Martinsburg head coach Bruce Fowler said his team’s hot start to due to the way they prepare.

“At this time of year, we’re gonna face good teams but more importantly we gonna worry about what we’re doing,” said Coach Fowler. “So, we’ve been kind of focused on us right now to see if we can keep this thing going.”

Tip-off times tonight and Saturday evening are at 7:15 and Andrew Caridi will have the calls live on 93.7 and 1340 WEPM.
