KEARNEYSVILLE. W.Va. — Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate Patrick Morrisey’s campaign trail made a stop in the Eastern Panhandle on Tuesday.

Following an event in Parkersburg, Morrisey flew to the GOP office in Kearneysville for a meet and greet with early voters.

Morrisey told supporters in attendance he feels that a big swing in his favor is occurring across the state.

He added that he can’t wait for Thursday’s debate in Morgantown against his opponent, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin.

“I’m looking forward to debating Senator Manchin,” said Morrisey. “He’s not been held accountable during his tenure in office and finally Joe Manchin is willing to put himself out in public and agree to a debate. We’ve been calling for a debate for a while. It’s a shame that he’s been hiding.”

On Friday, President Donald Trump is scheduled to make his third campaign stop on Morrisey’s behalf in Huntington. Morrisey noted Tuesday that each time the President has joined him on the campaign, his numbers have gone up.
