CHARLESTON, W.Va. There are 143 more COVID-19 cases in Berkeley County than there were a week ago.
Those numbers from the Saturday report of the state DHHR, which indicated 1,455 active cases in Berkeley County.
In Jefferson County, 555 cases represent 118 more cases over a seven day period.
In Morgan County, there are 147 active cases, up by 32 over the previous week.
The entire Eastern Panhandle is red on the state’s County Alert map, and all public schools are following mandatory masking for students and staff inside buildings and on school buses.
