Christmas Cash for Kids launches 13th Season

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle and the state Department of Health and Human Resources are teaming up once again with City National Bank and West Virginia Radio Corporation for the 2018 Christmas Cash for Kids.

The campaign now in its 13th season kicked off Friday with the goal of raising $25,000 by mid-December for gifts to be given to less fortunate children in the Eastern Panhandle.

DHHR Resources Manager Kathy Bradley told WEPM that “Over the years, the program has changed a little bit” but the goal remains the same.

Those interested in participating can visit the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle’s website at uwayep.org or stop at any local Rocs Local Market Stores, City National Bank branches or the offices of 97 point 5, WKMZ.
