GREENBRIER COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A weeklong trial in Greenbrier County Circuit Court has resulted in a guilty verdict for a woman who killed a couple following an argument over a hunting lease.
Terri Lynn Storer, 49, of Charles Town, was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.
State Police tell WCHS Storer was found to be responsible for the shooting deaths of 37-year-old Jeremiah Thomas and 38-year-old Jennifer Thomas, of Smoot.
Troopers said an argument over trespassing in the Williamsburg area turned violent in November 2019 as Storer used a handgun to fire multiple rounds at the couple who died at the scene.
