Berkeley Sheriff’s Department: Three men in Saturday morning W.Va. shooting incident are from Virginia

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — A fight early Saturday morning ending with a shooting at an exotic dance club in the Bunker Hill area.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department said today three of the four men injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at a Bunker Hill strip club were from Virginia.

31-year-old Darren Coff and 29-year-old Hector Espinosa were taken to Winchester Medical Center for single gun shot wounds after the incident at Elysium Gentlemen’s Club.

Coff and Espinosa’s injuries were not life threatening. A third man from Martinsburg drove himself to Veterans Affairs Medical Center for Treatment. A fourth man from Winchester received treated at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Deputies responded to the club on Winchester Avenue at around 5 a.m.

Berkeley County Sheriff Curtis Keller tells WEPM News that the investigation into a motive is still ongoing.

“We’re still interviewing. We got more information today,” said Keller. “And hopefully we can get it solved. Because I’m sure somebody who actually seen it knows who it was and who the suspects were.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Department.
