Mercado-Medrano was a student at Spring Mills High School.

According to authorities, Stewart inaccurately described the drug as cocaine and incorrectly showed him how to prepare the drug.

Stewart and Johnson will spend a combined 55 years in prison. They will also pay $8,649 to Mercado-Medrano’s family for funeral-related expenses.
