WV Secretary of State Calls on Veterans to Become Poll Workers

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner is appealing to his fellow veterans to sign up to serve again – this time as poll workers.

In an op-ed last week, Warner called on folks to join hands and “tackle a threat which shakes the very foundation of our cherished Republic, and lift the spirits of a divided nation.

He is calling on the state’s veterans to sign up with their county clerk to work in the polls and help restore our people’s unquestioned faith in their elections.

“We in West Virginia have set the example for election integrity in our country. Our ability to continue being the nation’s beacon of light in this critical endeavor relies on having poll workers who are skilled, dedicated, and above reproach,” Warner says.
