MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Two people were injured in a shooting this morning off Warm Springs Avenue in Martinsburg,
The West Virginia State Police/Martinsburg Detachment tell the Panhandle News Network they responded just before 2 a.m. to the 500 block of Warm Springs Avenue after a report of a shooting involving two (2) vehicles came through dispatch.
Trooper T.A. Cathey discovered one (1) male and one (1) female victim with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were conscious and breathing and were transported to Berkeley Medical Center for treatment.
The female victim was treated and released and the male victim is reportedly in stable condition.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark SUV of unknown make or model.
The investigation is ongoing.
