MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A toddler is in critical condition following a drowning incident over the weekend.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department reports the incident involving the one-year-old was reported Sunday evening just before 7:30 p.m. at a home in Martinsburg.
A press release indicates the drowning happened in the back yard pool of the home. The incident remains under investigation according to
Sheriff Rob Blair who also extended his thoughts and prayers to the toddler’s family.
