MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — An official with the Berkeley-Morgan County Board of Health has confirmed a third death related to COVID-19.
Administrator Bill Kearns said the Berkeley County resident was an 83 year-old female. It is unclear if the deceased had underlying medical conditions.
“As always, our thoughts and prayers certainly go out to the family,” Kearns said.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Berkeley County had 170 confirmed coronavirus cases. Morgan County was reporting 17 cases.
