MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — It’s been 50 years in the making.
The city of Martinsburg is redoing its Zoning Ordinance and is looking for input from the public.
City Manager Mark Baldwin says copies of the proposed ordinance and city maps will be available online at cityofmartinsburg.org/planning and at City Hall.
The public is invited to give comments during a public hearing this evening (Wednesday) at 6pm in the J. Oakley Seibert Council Chambers at 232 North Queen Street in Martinsburg.
Baldwin says those who plan to speak will be allowed to do so as long as they are following safety protocols.
The new draft has been in the works since last year. The proposed Draft Zoning Ordinance would replace the City’s current Zoning Ordinance, originally enacted in 1970.
