MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Shootings in Martinsburg and Berkeley County last year led investigators to a major drug operation.
Delligatti said authorities seized during the arrests were 1,700 pressed fentanyl pills, $18,000 in cash.
The incidents reportedly had ties to gangs, both local and national, including the “Get Money By Any Means” gang and the “Sex Money Murder” gang as well as the Black Guerrilla Family, according to Delligatti.

Martinsburg Police Chief George Swartwood says there has been recent gang activity in Berkeley County and he is pleased this indictment to a swift end.
The investigation stemmed from gunshots into structures in 2022. Martinsburg Police Chief George Swartwood said, “The Tennessee Avenue (shooting) was a residence, the other was a business. Multiple gunshots into a residence. Thank the Lord nobody was struck during that.”
“I’m sure the residents of that street will sleep a lot easier knowing that this crime has been brought to justice now,” Swartwood told the Panhandle News Network in Martinsburg.
Berkeley County Sheriff Nathan Harmon said the area is not immune to drug and gang-related activity.
“You cannot presume that Berkeley County West Virginia is immune from any of these evils that are out there, and I’m proud to say our men and women in uniform don’t have that mindset.”
Harmon praised the work of investigators and the prosecuting attorney’s office. “When you’re dealing with the drug trade, I don’t think there’s been very many drug seizures that my ACE Team or my office has done where we haven’t found a gun.”
“It is scary. We’re talking about a group that is very much anti-cop, there is so much anti-cop rhetoric,” Harmon says.
“They have no sympathy for any of the citizens that are hurt or that are put in harm’s way with their actions. We want to make sure they’re held accountable. The prosecutor’s office has just been phenomenal,” the sheriff said at Wednesday’s press conference.
As for those indicted, he says, “They’re finally going to see what justice is all about.”
Those charged include:
Tremayne Cordell McConnell, 21, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with Malicious
Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Malicious Assault, Willful Disruption of Governmental Process,
Offense By Inmate (Causing Injury to Another), and the felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act
Violation.
Quadir Hassan Duckett, 20, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with two counts of
Delivery of Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Possession with
Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Malicious Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Malicious Assault, Willful
Disruption of Governmental Process, Offense By Inmate (Causing Injury to Another), and the
felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act Violation.
Zeto Moise Ulrich Tape a/k/a Tadoe, 22, of Hagerstown, Maryland, was charged with two counts
of Delivery of Marijuana, two counts of Conspiracy to Delivery of Marijuana, Delivery of
Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Delivery of Fentanyl, Person Prohibited from Possessing a Firearm, and
the felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act Violation.
Travis Ronje Nash a/k/a Travo, 23, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with sixty-three
counts of Wanton Endangerment, three counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of Conspiracy to
Commit Wanton Endangerment, two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder, three
counts of Delivery of Marijuana, three counts of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, Misdemeanor
Transferring Stolen Property, Conspiracy to Transferring Stolen Property, three counts of Delivery
of Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Deliver Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute
Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine,
Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Possession with Intent to Distribute
Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Conspiracy to Possession with Intent to
Deliver Marijuana, and the felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act Violation.
Khasim Jayoine Baker a/k/a Big Sheem, 21, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with
twenty counts of Wanton Endangerment, four counts of Attempted Murder, Conspiracy to Commit
Attempted Murder, two counts of Delivery of Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl,
Conspiracy to Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver
Marijuana, Conspiracy to Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and the felony offense of
Criminal Enterprise Act Violation
Ahmir Khalil Duckett, 23, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with Possession with
Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to
Deliver Marijuana, and the felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act Violation.
Christian James Callahan a/k/a Bris, 23, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with sixtythree counts of Wanton Endangerment, six counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of Conspiracy
to Commit Wanton Endangerment, two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder,
Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, two counts of Delivery of Fentanyl, Deliver of Cocaine Base,
and the felony offense of Criminal Enterprise Act Violation.
The suspects will appear before 23rd Judicial Court Judge Debra McLaughlin for arraignments, with trial dates pending.
Deligatti said those indicted are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
