AAA Mid-Atlantic expects the number of Americans traveling 50 miles or more over Memorial Day Weekend to be at its highest level in 10 years thanks to the improving economy and the lowest gas prices in five years.
37 million Americans are expected to travel this weekend, that’s up by more than 4.5 percent from last year.
33 million of those will travel by automobile, nearly a 5.5 percent increase.
