Monday Event Focuses on Environmental Impact of a Changing Climate 

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — An event scheduled for Monday evening at Shepherd University is aimed at discussing the price tag for a changing environmental landscape.

The Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications is hosting “The American Conversation Series presents:
AMERICA’S CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY: WHO PAYS, US OR OUR CHILDREN?”

Interim Director Greg Fields on why there won’t be a scientist on the panel:

Fields says they’re hoping to have a productive discussion.

There’ll be a question and answer opportunity as well as a reception following the conversation.

The event is set for Monday Evening, May 23rd 7:00 p.m., in the Student Center Storer Ballroom at Shepherd University.

Panelists include Jeffrey Madison, Associate Professor in the School of Communications at American University, Danny Richter, Ph.D. Vice President of Government Affairs, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and Sean Kevelighan, former President and Chief Executive Officer, the Insurance Information Institute. Moderated by Dispatch staff writer Sarah Isgur.
