ANNAPOLIS, MD –– Last week MDOT released a data dashboard for fatal crashes.
So far this year in Maryland, there have been 148 traffic related deaths. Four of those occurred in Washington County.
Last year, a total of 539 traffic fatalites occurred statewide, with 19 of those happening in Washington County.
The year prior, there were 563 deaths in Maryland with 12 of those occurring in Washington County.
The Website tabulates whether distracted or aggressive driving was involved, whether the fatality was that of a young or mature person, and if anyone involved in the crash was unrestrained.
