Martinsburg Police Say a Domestic Call Results in Major Gun and Drug Seizure

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The call first came in as a domestic situation, but Martinsburg Police say it ended with the seizure of multiple firearms and a large haul of illicit drugs.

On April 14th, MPD Officers responded to 118 North Centre Street for a report of a domestic situation.

Upon investigation and the execution of a search warrant; officers located 6 firearms, ammunition, 37 suspected fentanyl capsules, 1 gram of meth, 1 gram of crack cocaine, approximately 18 grams of marijuana and other miscellaneous pills.

Mark Wayne Carter was charged with Domestic Battery, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl and Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.
