Hagerstown Man Arrested on Firearms, Narcotics Charges

HAGERSTOWN, MD — A Hagerstown man is facing firearms and drug charges after a search of a home in the city Tuesday.

The Hagerstown Police Department reports that on May 30th, agents from the Washington County Narcotics Task Force served a search and seizure warrant at 60 E Franklin St Apt #3 in reference to a narcotics investigation.
As they served the warrant, agents found seven firearms (five pistols and two rifles) along with ammunition and several magazines.

They also located approximately 200 hydrocodone pills in various pill bottles in the home.

75-year-old David Henry Tobey of Hagerstown has been charged with numerous counts of firearms and ammunition possession. Tobey is a person prohibited from owning firearms. He has also been charged with possession with the intent to distribute a schedule II narcotic.
