HAGERSTOWN, MD — The victim in a Friday homicide in Hagerstown has been identified. 
The Hagerstown Police Department reported Sunday that 38-year-old Kevin Shepherd of Hagerstown was the victim of what they term “likely a targeted incident.”
On Friday, officers of the Hagerstown Police Department responded to the area of the 1200 block of Marshall St for a report of shots fired. On arrival officers located a male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The HPD says there is no threat to the general public, but
“This remains an active investigation. Further details will be released when appropriate.”
