Fundraiser Looking to Help Resurface DIY Skateboard Park in Martinsburg

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — They’re used to doing it themselves at the DIY Skateboard Park in Martinsburg.

Now, they need a little help ahead of a Halloween event:

That’s “Crustodian” Chris Owens of the Martinsburg DIY Skatepark. They’re hoping to raise $3,500.00 resurface the park ahead of their big event October 29th — The Halloween Skate Jam. Up to this point, improvements to the park have been handled in DIY fashion:

The Halloween Skate Jam is set for October 29th from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. at the skate park, located at 310 North Raleigh Street in Martinsburg:
