CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — We’re getting word this morning that Former Jefferson County Sheriff and Ranson Police Chief Everett “Ed” Boober has passed away.
Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer offered his condolences in a social media post this morning and called Boober a great brother in blue.
Boober was a retired police officer from Washington, DC who also served as the Ranson Police Chief and for two terms as the Jefferson County Sheriff.
