Family of Woman Struck and Killed in Home Marks a Somber Anniversary

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Saying it’s now been two months since their loved one was struck and killed while sitting in her home when a truck ran through her porch and killed her, the family of Elva “Faye” Bittorie is reminding the public that a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible.

In a social media post Sunday, David Bittorie said he believes someone is out there who knows something, and if they don’t want to talk to the sheriff, they can call him.

The 74-year-old woman was killed in her Blairton Road home December 21st. Police are looking for a light white or tan colored Chevy Silverado as part of their investigation.

If you have information, you are asked to call the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at (304) 267-7000.
