Extra Trolley Service Available for Harpers Ferry – Bolivar Olde Tyme Christmas

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. — An extra trolley will be available in order to get visitors to all the event locations for the next two weekends for the Harpers Ferry – Bolivar Olde Tyme Christmas Festival and to offset the limited parking in lower town Harpers Ferry December 3, 4, 10 & 11. Visitors are invited to park at Harpers Ferry Middle School. They’ll still have to pay the Park entrance fee., but guests can take the trolley to all the stops.

The 19th Century is coming to Harpers Ferry December 2nd through the 4th and the 10th and 11th.  It’s billed as a traditional Christmas celebration “as quaintly decorated streets come alive for the holiday season,” according to organizers.

Olde Tyme Christmas includes live entertainment, children’s activities, Horse driven wagon rides, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the town gazebo and holiday shopping.

Trolley stops include:

Bolivar Community Center (December 10 & 11)
The Barn of Harpers Ferry (all dates)
First Zion Baptist Church (December 10)
Zachary Taylor St/Store College Pl (all dates)
The Gazebo (all dates)
Lower Town Bus Loop (all dates)

The trolley will run from 10am-6pm on a continuous loop except December 10 it ends at 3:30pm to join the Christmas Parade.
