MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Pastor Eddie Edmonds has resigned as Board President at Berkeley Senior Services and taken over as Interim Executive Director.

Former board Vice President Jean Bibby has taken over as board president as Edmonds replaces former Executive Director Linda Holtzapple, who no longer works for the agency.

Edmonds said during Panhandle Live Thursday the board is going to look for a full time director in the nearfuture.

“We’re not in that process yet,” Edmonds said. “But that’s what I would tell you the plan is.”

Community Outreach Manager Amy Orndoff said the transition has been smooth.

“With Pastor Eddie serving as our board president for years it just made sense for him to step into that role,” Orndoff said.

Edmonds is serving in in the executive director position while maintaining his role as pastor at the Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren in Martinsburg.
