Check Your Doorbell Camera Footage: MCSD Asking for Public’s Help as Daylight Search Gets Underway at 8:15

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. —  The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is coordinating a daytime search this morning for a teenage boy who went missing from the 1100 block of New Hope Road Sunday afternoon.

Sheriff KC Bohrer says his department was notified late Sunday and while they started a search then, they did not find the 14-year-old, who is described as a Latino male, 5 feet 5 inches, 140 pounds with short black hair.  He was last reportedly wearing an orange jacket.
Sheriff Bohrer is asking anyone in the area of New Hope Road or Theodore Hawvermale road to check their outdoor cameras or Ring doorbell devices for any footage that may lead them to understand where the youngster is.

Morgan County Chief Deputy Johnny Walter says the youth is new to the area and unfamiliar with his surroundings.

The young man’s family lives in the New Hope Road/ Theodore Hawvermale Road area.
