BCS Superintendent says School System Works All Year Long on Safety

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Events like this week’s school shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee that left three students and three adults dead, are heartbreaking, according to Berkeley County Schools Superintendent Ron Stephens:

Active Shooter training is ongoing. Notably, in August of last year, a multi-agency, cross-school system drill was held in cooperation with Jefferson County Schools to train school personnel and first responders:
