Apparent Washington County Murder-Suicide Involves 2 Ex-Maryland Officers, Kids

Baltimore, MD –– Four people, including two children, were found dead in Washington County in what Baltimore County Police are calling an apparent murder-suicide involving two former Baltimore County officers. Investigators say 41-year-old Robert Vicosa, his six- and seven-year-old daughters, and a woman they believe was his accomplice were found dead in a car Thursday near Ringgold. Police believe the woman, Baltimore County Police Sergeant Tia Bynum, helped Vicosa hold his estranged wife captive. Vicosa was fired from the Baltimore County Police Department back in August.

Investigators say the pair allegedly kidnapped his six and seven-year-old daughters from their mother at gunpoint in York County, Pennsylvania.
