Project 604 Demolition Underway; Community Invited to Open House

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A first-of-its kind project is in the works in downtown Martinsburg, according to Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission Superintendent Pastor Tim Guerino:

The original fundraising goal to make it happen has increased a bit because of the rising cost of materials, according to Guerino:

Guerino says the project has come this far because the community is getting behind it from very small to very large contributions. On September 13th, he’s hosting an open house at the property,
at 604 W, King St. Open House. There will be light refreshments and —

The event will begin at 6 pm on Tuesday, September 13th at 604 W. King Street in Martinsburg.

When completed, the building will provide six housing units for families plus provide meals, clothing and emotional support.
