STATE LINE, PA — A Falling Waters man died after driving off a road near Antrip Township Thursday afternoon.
State Police in Pennsylvania tell WHP TV out of Harrisburg 55-year-old Desmond Pantaja was driving an International Harvester tractor trailer along Molly Pitcher Highway in Antrim Township near Greenview Drive when suffered a possible medical episode that caused him to drive off the road.
The truck hit a mailbox, a utility pole, and then an embankment.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Pennsylvania State Police and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office determined that Pantaja potentially had a medical episode, causing the crash.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which closed the roadway for an extended period of time while police investigated and first responders cleared the scene
