MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — There is now extra scrutiny for drivers along I-81.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration announced this week that the heightented enforcement period which began Monday (06/20) will be in effect through Friday.
Law enforcement will be looking for Motor Carrier and Big Truck operators who are driving too fast, following too close, and being distracted behind the wheel, which they say can lead to crashes and fatalities.
