911 Call Issued for Morgan County School – MCSD Says No Danger to Students

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — A 911 call at a Morgan County School Friday was due to a domestic incident, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Department says Sheriff Bohrer, SGT. Lemon, CPL. Hedrick and Trp. Meyers responded and a male subject was arrested.

Sheriff Bohrer says there was no danger to any student or school related to the incident.

A post from Morgan County Schools said there was a suspicious person in the roadway at Warm Springs Middle School during dismissal.

The middle school was placed on code red and there was a delay in dismissal as well as a traffic disruption.

The announcement from Morgan County Schools said the safety of students is a top priority and they appreciate everyone’s patience while the situation was handled.
