MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A 25-year-old Berkeley County woman is the 54th West Virginian who died in connection to the coronavirus pandemic.
The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported the death Sunday morning.
βTo lose yet another West Virginian, especially one so young, is truly heartbreaking,β said Bill Crouch, secretary of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
The department reported 1,360 positive cases statewide β a 13 case increase since Saturday evening β and 62,644 total tests recorded by the state. The positive test rate is 2.17% across West Virginia.
