MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A water leak on the second floor of the Caperton Train Station has closed The George Children’s Museum through Wednesday.
A post from the city of Martinsburg showed pictures of standing water on the floor in the area that houses the museum and serves as a waiting area for passengers.
One of the photos shows water running from behind a water fountain.
The train station has been shut down to allow for damage assessment. MARC and Amtrak trains were not running Tuesday, but city officials say the station will be open for passengers when MARC and Amtrak resume operations.
Meanwhile, museum staff say the children’s museum will be closed at least through Wednesday for clean up.
