BURLINGTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced a lane closure this week on southbound I-81.
The right lane will be closed on southbound Interstate 81, between mile marker 6 and mile marker 5.2, in Berkeley County, from 7 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to allow for asphalt repairs.
All ramps will remain open.
Motorists are advised to stay alert and travel with caution through the work zone.
The work is being performed at night to minimize the impact on traffic.
