BURLINGTON, W.Va. — Bridge Replacement work in could close a Morgan County road for a year and a half.
The West Virginia Division of Highways says The Pallet Factory Bridge, on Winchester Grade Road in Morgan County, will be closed beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, to replace the existing bridge.
The bridge will remain closed until the replacement is complete.
There will be a one lane temporary bridge in place to accommodate traffic.
The estimated completion date is August 2027.
The WVDOH will place signs to warn motorists.
Exact schedule is weather dependent.
