KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. — The Division of Motor Vehicles Office in Kearneysville is closed today, according to the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles.
On Sunday afternoon, scanner page Eastern Panhandle Working Fires reported a call out to the DMV location after a vehicle ran into the building just after 4 p.m.
There were no injuries, but the driver drove away from the scene.
First responders reported minor damage to one exterior side of the building, but apparently no damage to the inside.
The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles reminds drivers that many services are available online at dmv.wv.gov.
Most municipal and government offices will be closed later this week in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
