HAGERSTOWN, MD — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal are conducting a joint investigation into an incident that occurred on December 17, 2025, in the Greenberry Hills neighborhood of Hagerstown.
At approximately 3:30 AM, deputies responded to the 11400 block of Longview Drive for a van fire. Upon arrival, they found that several other vehicles had been struck by the van and discovered a deceased individual.
The deceased individual is an adult male whose body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, MD, for autopsy.
