WILLIAMSPORT, MD — Citing cold weather, officials with the town of Williamsport have canceled the annual Christmas Parade.
An announcement Thursday said, “Due to forecasted extreme low temperatures and out of an abundance of caution for participants and spectators, the 2025 Williamsport Holiday Parade has been cancelled. We truly appreciate everyone’s hard work and understanding.”
The Christmas Tree Lighting Countdown will still take place at 5:30 PM on Friday in Byron Memorial Park.
Santa will be having cookies and hot chocolate in the community building for all the people that would like to join him.
