BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — There’s plenty of fun to be had over the weekend in Berkeley Springs and Paw Paw.

Berkeley Springs/Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Director Jules Happy Rone was a guest on Wednesday’s Panhandle Live. and talked about the 8th Annual Cocoa Crawl Friday night.

“We have 19 stops this year, umm, each pouring a different kind of cocoa,” Rone said.

“It’s a free event brought to you by the businesses of Berkeley Springs. And you can come and sip cocoa and walk around and shop. You can listen to music in the park. You can watch dancers in the library parking lot.”

The Cocoa Crawl is set for  5 to 9 p.m. downtown.

On Saturday, the Winterfest Parade steps off downtown. In posting the lineup on the Winterfest Parade event page, organizers said, ” The letters beside your name are where you’re to go: L-legion, M-moose, TD- train depot.”

“There will be a check-in spot in the grass area of the legion; you must be checked in by 4:30.

“Candy during the parade must be handed out by walkers; it cannot be thrown. This is a safety issue; keep that in mind for the parade.”

On Sunday, the town of Paw Paw hosts its annual Christmas parade.
