INWOOD, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Police say a child missing out of Inwood is at risk.
Senior Trooper Z.D. Haught with the Martinsburg detachment tells The Panhandle News Network they are using every tool within their power to find 16-year-old Hector Padilla, Jr.
He was last reportedly wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light grey jeans, and carrying a light grey bookbag when he went missing from Inwood.
Trooper Haught says the youth is considered at risk due to medical conditions including autism. Haught says Padilla’s condition may affect how he interacts with others.
He says anyone who spots Padilla should try to document it by taking a picture or video and call the Martinsburg detachment of the West Virginia State Police at (304) 267-0001 OR the non-emergency line for Berkeley County dispatch at (304) 263-1330
