Right Lane Closure on US 340 Northbound in Jefferson County Wednesday night through Thursday morning:
–The right lane will be closed on US 340 northbound, from Halltown Road to the WV 230 traffic signal, in Jefferson County, beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, through 6 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, to allow for pavement repairs. Motorists should allow extra time while traveling in this area and travel with caution through the work zone. This work is being performed at night to minimize the effect on traffic. Right Lane on Southbound I-81, in Berkeley County, to be Closed Wednesday Overnight:
–The right lane will be closed on southbound Interstate 81, between mile marker 6 and mile marker 2, in Berkeley County, from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, through 3 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, to allow for asphalt repairs. All ramps will remain open. Motorists are advised to stay alert and travel with caution through the work zone. This work is being performed at night to minimize the effect on traffic.
