MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — It was a busy week here at the Panhandle News Network, and it started the previous Friday when we got a chance for an exclusive sit-down interview with Governor Patrick Morrisey.  On Saturday, the news broke that a deputy had been injured in a shootout in Morgan County with a domestic violence suspect.  We recapped those stories and looked ahead to the National Night Out with Jefferson County law enforcement on Monday’s Panhandle Live

That wasn’t all.  It was a busy week of programming in which we got updates from Toni Milbourne, editor of the Journal on the day their first ever weekly newspaper was printed.  Doctor Kevin McLaughlin, Health Officer for the Berkeley and Morgan County Health Departments talked about snake bite protocol following a rattlesnake bite in Morgan County.

We got answers to some questions about “Hancock, W.Va.” with author Steve French and had a reflective segment with Daniel Woods, who is relocating to our Charleston stations and Parker Stone, who’s coming back to Martinsburg.  All of these interviews and more are available in this week’s shows, available at our Panhandle News Network Spotify.

You can hear Panhandle Live weekday mornings beginning at 9:06 here on the Panhandle News Network, streamed right here and available on air at 93.7 and 1340 WEPM
and 93.5 and 1010 WCST.
