MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Two youngsters who had last been seen in the Raleigh Street area Thursday in Martinsburg have returned home.

Friday morning, the West Virginia State Police told the Panhandle News Network the boy and girl “both safely returned home early this morning from their hideout in the woods.”

The West Virginia State Police express their gratitude for “the community support and all of the individuals who came put and helped search for them.”

They had last been seen around 5:40 pm. Thursday in Martinsburg.

The Panhandle News Network will not publish the names of the previously missing children since they have been located.
